Join the Hawaii Chapter of the ASLA for a fun morning of drawing in a magnificent setting at the Cooke Estate in Manoa Valley with a short tour. Learn how to formulate and communicate your ideas with quick sketch drawing. There's no ability pre-requisites for this session except an open mind and desire to doodle your ideas into art.

The Cooke Estate, Kūali‘i, was built in 1911 by Charles Montague Cooke Jr. and named for a great O‘ahu chief, the home and gardens evoke the graciousness of Hawai‘i’s pastwith an impressive garden of native plants.. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Kūka‘ō‘ō Heiau is located on the Cooke Estate overlooking Mānoa Valley. It survives as the last intact Hawaiian temple in the greater ahupua‘a of Waikīkī.

Illustrator Steve Sue, will lead a fun morning of drawing. Steve parlayed an education in fine art (UCLA) and law (UC Berkeley) into a career as a strategic illustrator that positioned him as the quintessential "fly on the wall" to a variety of businesses including mega-resorts, retail architecture and entertainment productions. Steve has been a hired gun to numerous casino resort projects around the globe, advertising agencies in the SF Bay Area, and a variety of music and theatrical producers.
